Lieutenant General Le Hien Van, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, attended the event.
The seminar's organizing panel received more than 100 papers from general-rank officers, scientists, and troops from units and agencies under the Ministry of National Defense. Accordingly, the seminar clarified the context when President Ho Chi Minh wrote his Testament, and affirmed the ideological and practical values of this document over the past 50 years since it was first published.
The seminar also analyzed President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morals and lifestyle which are reflected in his Testament and also point out hostile forces' wrongful viewpoints aiming at denying the ideological and realistic meanings of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament.
The same day, the academy held a ceremony to review the five-year implementation of “Promoting traditions, devoting talent, deserving to be Uncle Ho's soldiers” and “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morals, and style” movements.
