University urged to meet international education standards
PANO – A mission of the Hanoi municipal Party Committee, led by its Secretary Hoang Trung Hai, worked with the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) on December 23.
HUST is one of the largest education institutions in Vietnam. 2017 is the first year for the university to implement the Government’s pilot program of allowing full autonomy for a number of universities.
This year, the university was one of four in the country to receive a certificate for accreditation in international standards by France’s High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCERES).
Secretary Hai highly valued the university’s efforts in carrying out the Government’s program and requested them to continuously meet international standards and improve the quality of teaching and training provided.
