Lieutenant General Le Chiem presenting gifts to local people

PANO – Lieutenant General Le Chiem, Deputy Defence Minister, and other leaders of Military Zone 5 presented 300 gifts to policy beneficiaries and those who have rendered good service to the nation in Quang Ngai and Gia Lai provinces.

Earlier, they laid wreaths and offered incense to heroic martyrs at the Relics of Van Tuong victory and Ba Gia victory in Quang Ngai, and to national hero Emperor Quang Trung at the Quang Trung Museum in Binh Dinh.

These activities were part of the program in celebration of the 70th founding anniversary of Military Zone 5 (October 16th) and 50th traditional day of the zone’s Division 2 (October 20th).

* Meanwhile, on the 85th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) (October 20th), the women’s union of the Northern Vietnam Helicopter Company granted gifts, including notebooks and pens, to students and teachers of the Lung Tam Secondary School in Quan Ba district, Ha Giang province.
