Troubled fisherman saved at sea
PANO – Doctors of the Medical Clinic in Truong Sa town, Truong Sa district, Khanh Hoa province have successfully saved a troubled fisherman.
Previously, fisherman Tran Van Cuong, born 1985, a crew-member of trawler QNg 95454 TS, had an accident and his left hand was seriously wounded by hitting a sharp object while fishing in the waters of Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago of Vietnam.

The victim was immediately taken to the island town for treatment. He was hospitalized when he began experiencing a high fever and his injured hand started swelling up.
After examination, doctors concluded that his wound was seriously infected and needed an urgent surgery.
The operation lasted one hour and concluded successfully.
Cuong is now recovering.
