The center immediately sent requests to fishing boats operating nearby to join the rescue and guided the crew-members to prepare life-saving equipment and inspect the engine. At 1 p.m. the same day, the center sent Ship SAR 412 to the scene and the ship reached the troubled boat at 1:05 a.m. on February 21. Three crew-members of the troubled boat then received healthcare from staff of Ship SAR 412. The rescue force quickly implemented anti-submergence measures and towed the troubled boat to the mainland.
On the way back to the mainland, Ship SAR 412 received order to rescue another troubled boat, numbered DNa 91119 TS, with two crew-members in Quang Nam waters. By 4:10 a.m. the same day, Ship SAR 412 reached the troubled boat. After providing healthcare for crew-members, the rescue ship towed two troubled boats with their fishermen to the mainland safely.
