Thai Binh receives rehabilitation equipment for AO victims
PANO - The Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin (VAVA) held a ceremony on September 6 to receive rehabilitation and vocational training equipment for AO victims in Thai Binh province.
Accordingly, the equipment was sponsored by the Japanese government.
With the close attention of higher levels, over the past ten years, the Thai Binh provincial Association of AO/dioxin Victims has built a detoxification center for AO victims. Up to now, nearly 4,000 victims have received the treatment, and their health conditions have improved dramatically.
In order to raise the quality of the center and number of AO victims receiving detoxification treatment, the VAVA’s Central Committee drew up a plan and proposed the Japanese Embassy in Hanoi to sponsor rehabilitation equipment, contributing to completing the detoxification process and improving the health of AO victims.
