The gifts were funded by KFHI Vietnam, a non-profit organization based in the Republic of Korea.

In 2017, KFHI conducted numerous charity activities in the province at a total cost of more than VND 2.3 billion (USD 101,000). It will give 300 more Tet gifts to needy children in the locality, worth over VND 114 million (USD 5,000).

The same day, a unit under the Hanoi Red Cross Society held a ceremony to hand over nine charity houses and 200 Tet gifts to poor households and Agent Orange (AO)/Dioxin victims in six communes of Lap Thach district.
