South African Consulate donates fund for ten gratitude houses
PANO – The South African Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City donated over VND 700 million to build ten gratitude houses for needy officers of the Navy on the occasion of the 2018 Lunar New Year.

Over the past years, the South African Consulate has cooperated with the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Foundation, the Public Security Newspaper in Ho Chi Minh City, the Tuoi Tre (Youths) Newspaper, the Vien Dong Assurance Corporation, to organize activities to support policy families, national contributors, poor people and needy students across the country.
Recently, the Consulate and the Tuoi Tre (Youths) Newspaper presented 3,000 warm jackets, boots and woolen caps to students and teachers at elementary and junior high schools in the two districts of Nam Nga, Muong Te in Lai Chau province.
