Six troubled fishermen saved at sea
PANO - Six distressed fishermen was successful transported to mainland on January 16, announced the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center.

At 15:25 on January 14, the center received information from a fishing boat ND 92999 TS, captained by Vu Van Cau from Nam Dinh province. The boat went adrift due to an engine failure while fishing in the waters of the Vietnam's Northern Bay.
At 20:25 the same day, the boat sent a mayday signal. Immediately, the center sent ship SAR 411 starting from Hon La (Quang Binh province) for rescue mission.
At 5:00 on January 15, the rescue ship approached the troubled boat, provided first aid to crew and towed the boat with all 6 fishermen on board to Nam Dinh. This is the second time in three days SAR 411 carry out the successful rescues. Earlier, on January 12, the ship rescued seven fishermen of the fishing boat QB 98896 TS.
