At the event, Mr. Son asked the corporation’s steering committee for COVID-19 prevention and control to develop new approaches to coping with the developments of the pandemic in Ho Chi Minh City and other localities where the corporation’s projects are being carried out.
The committee was requested to urgently review and update the situational developments to speed up the vaccination plan for the corporation’s employees with special priority given to officials and employees of the key force and those participating in the process of important production, business, and construction investment in order to reduce risks for PV Gas employees.
The PV Gas’s General Director also urged its staff to strictly observe the Government’s social distancing regulations, ensure absolute safety for on-duty forces, and consider PV Gas Tower “a safe fortress” - the command post for PV Gas’s production, business and disease prevention and control activities.

The corporation’s affiliates were reminded to develop their own response plans and ask for necessary papers to conduct business and production activities and allocate medical supplies for the corporation’s COVID-19 control efforts.
Regarding the care for possible COVID-19 patients who are PV Gas staff, Mr. Son directed the provision of medicine, food, and healthcare for them.
He also urged the corporation’s Trade Union Organization to further implement policies to support pandemic-hit employees.
In order to ensure the production and business plan for this year and long-term development programs, the PV GAS general director emphasized the need to ensure quality of the corporation’s products and implementation of its projects.
Concluding the meeting, Son called for the brave spirit, determination, and concerted efforts of the entire political system, organizations, units, leaders and employees of PV Gas in the long-term fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, for the sake of the country and for each member of PV GAS – A leading corporation in the gas industry of Vietnam.
