PM decides to establish national center to deal with toxic chemicals
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has decided to establish the National Action Center for Overcoming Toxic Chemical and Environment Consequences.
The new center is a result of the restructuring of the Environment Treatment Technology Center under the Chemical Corps of the Ministry of National Defense.

It is tasked with settling the war consequences of toxic chemicals on environment and people nationwide, managing relevant data, and conducting scientific research and technological transfer.
The center will also build action plans and offer training courses to officers in the effort.
The PM asked the Ministry of National Defense to direct the Chemical Corps to manage the center and take responsibility for its operation.
