No locally-transmitted COVID-19 cases for 22 consecutive days
Vietnam has recorded no new locally-transmitted COVID-19 cases for 22 consecutive days by September 24, according to the Health Ministry.
From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on September 24, no new cases were reported, leaving the total count at 1,069.

Meanwhile, 991 COVID-19 patients have been given the all clear. The fatalities remain at 35.
Among patients under treatment, there is no longer any critical case, while 12 have tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 once, five negative twice and 11 negative thrice.
A total 20,590 people are being quarantined nationwide, including 336 at hospitals, 13,073 at concentrated quarantine facilities and 7,181 at homes or accommodations.
