PANO - A library system, named The Morning, will be under an agreement signed on June 19th by the Ban Mai Education System, the Kim Dong Publishing House and the Vietnamese Heart Fund under the Vietnam Television.

Under this agreement, a 100sq.m library with at least 20,000 books will be built each year at a cost of VND 300 million until 2025 to increase reading culture, equip more knowledge and narrow information gap in poor areas.

The Morning library is adapted from the Fujiko.F.Fujio Library of the Kim Dong Publishing House. This is a civilized reading space with modern equipment and diverse culture, history, science and nature.

The project to build The Morning library was initiated in 2011. Since then, the project has presented thousands of book titles for the Tu Liem Patronage Centre 3’s reading room in Hanoi, a library for the Huong Son B School in My Duc, Hanoi, and a library for primary school in Sa Pa, Lao Cai.

Mai Thi Lan Anh, a representative of the Ban Mai Education System, said that via this project, people will further understand the meaning of libraries to remote and mountainous areas in general and students with no access to reading culture in particular.
