PANO – Ninh Binh provincial Military Command on December 8th handed over a house to family of Lieutenant Nguyen Van Tien, an officer of Hoa Lu district’s military command.
It took two month to build this 45sq.m house at the cost of VND 110 million contributed by the provincial military command and his family. Troops of Hoa Lu district’s military command had contributed 30 working days and granted VND 7 million to help Tien’s family stabilize their life.

Meanwhile, the women’s union of Army Corps 1 has held various gratitude activities in celebration of the 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army and 25th anniversary of the whole people’s defence festive day. The activities include presenting gifts to needy women in Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province, offering incense and reporting achievements to Uncle Ho at his Commemorative House in Deo Ca mountain peak and having exchange with needy women.
Besides, on December 22nd, the union will inaugurate and hand over two houses to its needy members.
Economic-Defence Unit 778 of Military Zone 7 has worked with Binh Phuoc provincial General Hospital and the province’s Association for Young Doctors to provide free health check-ups and medicines to 500 needy locals, ethnic minority people and policy beneficiaries in Phu Nghia commune, Bu Gia Map district.
On the occasion, the unit granted 200 gifts to families of those who had rendered good service to the nation and to needy households in the locality.
