With a capacity of 1,580 beds, the hospital is capable of quarantining and treating COVID-19 patients in line with the regulations of the Health Ministry.
In addition, Viet Phat Trading Services and Technology Limited Liability Company sponsored the hospital to install remote control security camera systems, worth nearly VND 800 million.
Up to now, Binh Duong province has established seven field hospitals with more than 20,000 beds.
* The same day, Long An province renovated and set up Field Hospital No.24 on Deport C2 of the High Appraise Vietnam Company Limited under Tan Kim Industrial Park in Can Giuoc town, Can Giuoc district.
The hospital has a total of 2,500 beds, with 1,800 beds on the first floor and 700 beds on the second under the “three-story tower” treatment model.

* On September 5, HCM City Power Corporation handed over medical supplies and protective equipment to the newly-opened Field Hospital for Infectious Diseases No.5G in support of the on-duty medical force in containing the pandemic.
At the event, Major General Tran Viet Tien, Director of Military Hospital 103, expressed his sincere thanks to the Vietnam Electricity in general and HCM City Power Corporation in particular, and proposed the donors to provide more financial support for the hospital to equip 10 ventilators.
* Earlier, on September 4, while tracking down infected cases and taking COVID-19 testing samples in Duc Hoa district, Corporal Le Trong Nghia received the bad news that his father was dead due to a serious illness.
However, Nghia determined to stay in his unit and continued fulfilling COVID-19 prevention and control missions.
Learning the situation, Senior Colonel Tran Vinh Ngoc, Political Commissar of the Long An provincial Military Command, inquired after and extended his condolences to Nghia’s family. Also, Colonel Ngoc presented a certificate of merit to Corporal Nghia and encouraged him to overcome the loss and continue accomplishing his assignments.
