VNPT Group is focusing on establishing a portfolio of digital services, asserting its leadership role in consulting and implementing national-level projects to gradually build a digital government, digital economy, and digital society in Vietnam, according to the MoU.
The two sides hoped to explore cooperation opportunities and deploy Babylon cloud services in Vietnam as soon as possible, including the development of a national digital health system to support community healthcare in Vietnam and a digital healthcare service for Vinaphone mobile users.

The national digital health system is a digital health service ecosystem that connects people, medical facilities (hospitals, medical examination and treatment facilities, pharmacies, etc.) and medical management agencies in order to support public healthcare and improve access to health services. People can use the system to access healthcare services, seek medical advice from centers and doctors, make appointment for medical examinations and treatment, get prescriptions, and buy medicines across the country.
VNPT also conducts research and development in digital healthcare services specifically for VinaPhone mobile users as part of its customer service policy.
With over 24 million users in 16 countries and 15 languages, Babylon is one of the world's fastest growing digital healthcare companies, which is highly appreciated by governments, organizations, individuals, and users.
In his remarks at the event, VNPT Group Deputy Director Ngo Dien Hy stated that the company's collaboration with Babylon in the implementation of the healthcare system, aiming toward digital transformation for the national healthcare system, will help VNPT maintain its leading role in Vietnam's national digital transformation.
The MoU includes the establishment of working groups from both VNPT and Babylon to jointly research, develop projects, and implement plans so as to propose measures for the deployment of Babylon Cloud Service in Vietnam by the end of June 2022.
