Military units to engage in storing and transporting vaccines
PANO - Eight COVID-19 vaccine storage facilities will be installed nationwide under the management of military units, as revealed by Health Minister Nguyen Thanh Long at a meeting, on June 15, to implement the national COVID-19 vaccination campaign.
According to minister Long, this is the largest-ever inoculation campaign in Vietnam. It aims to administer 150 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine.

Long added that among the eight facilities, one will be installed in the Hanoi Capital Command while the seven others will be placed in seven military regions.
Once the vaccines arrive at the airport, they will be quickly transported to these storage facilities which must meet Good Storage Practices (GSP) standards to ensure vaccine quality.
Also at the event, minister Long said that over the past time, the Health Ministry has done its utmost to seek, discuss, and make negotiations to import COVID-19 vaccines and step up research and production of home-grown vaccines.
During the campaign, all vaccination stations will be strictly supervised by an online control system. All information about the numbers of vaccinated people and used vaccine doses will be made public.
