Medical forces ready to serve 13th National Party Congress
PANO - Over 300 public security officers, military troops and medical workers of the Hanoi Municipal Department of Health joined a large-scale event on January 10 to rehearse plans to protect safety and security for the 13th National Party Congress.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Quoc Vuong, Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, and head of the organising sub-committee for the 13th National Party Congress, stressed the significance of ensuring security, safety and health for delegates to the upcoming 13th National Party Congress amid the complicated development of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He hailed that the health sector, public security forces and military have drawn good plans to protect safety and security for the 13th National Party Congress.

He noted that the three forces should continue coordinating with one another to strictly control immigration, particularly illegal border crossings to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the community and maintain strict regulations at quarantine places.
The Party official asked relevant agencies to review their plans on one hand, and predict possible scenarios so as to ensure absolute safety and security for the 13th National Party Congress.
After the ceremony, several drills in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, food poisoning and emergency situations were also conducted.
