Each project marks the Southern hub’s effort and aspiration to master technologies, design, construction, and management capabilities, affirming its position as a major urban center that leads and connects Southeastern and the Southern key economic regions.

One of the outstanding projects is Thu Thiem Tunnel running under the Saigon River. It is credited as the most modern tunnel in the Southeast Asia region. Other worth-mentioning projects are Metro Line No.1 which is scheduled to put into operation this year; Beltway No.3; Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street built to serve cultural activities.
