HCMC Labor Federation honors outstanding families of officials and laborers
PANO – The Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Labor Federation launched the program “Cultural Festive Day – Happy families” on July 5 with the participation of over 350 families of officials and laborers.
The event was held to honor traditional cultural values of the Vietnamese family and create an opportunity for the participating families to share experience in building a happy family. Participants may also enjoy taking part in gameshows, competitions, and shopping.

Over the past time, the families of officials and laborers have actively responded to the city’s movements on building families and promoting traditional values of the Vietnamese family, contributing to building a civilized and modern city.
During the event, the city’s Labor Federation honored 53 outstanding families of officials and laborers who have always strictly followed the Party guidelines, the State’s laws and their agencies’ regulations, and actively participated in emulation movements and social activities.
In addition, they have been outstanding examples in maintaining traditional cultural values of the Vietnamese family, developing a household economy, and pursuing a better life. They also supported their neighbors and people in their precincts to overcome difficulties and hardship to have a better life.
