Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) on Feb. 25 opened a new restaurant at Big C Thang Long supermarket in Hanoi.
The new restaurant, KFC’s 44th in Vietnam and 7th in Hanoi, is built on an area of 550 square metres, including a yard and garden, an enclosed entertainment centre for children, and eating areas for customers.
The opening ceremony of KFC’s new restaurant saw the presence of David Novak, chairman of Yum! Brands Group, and also the owner of KFC brandname. In 10 years in Vietnam, KFC has expanded its restaurant network to many provinces and cities nationwide such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Can Tho, Vung Tau and Bien Hoa.
KFC plans to have 100 restaurants in Vietnam by 2010.
