Each district has adopted creative approaches. In Xin Man, local authorities have mobilized resources from organizations, businesses, and the public, while volunteers helped transport materials to construction sites. As of early March, the construction of 491 houses had started, of them 165 completed. The district aims to build 1,777 houses by the end of 2025, giving priority to families of revolution contributors.

In Hoang Su Phi, the program has been integrated with rural development initiatives. Beneficiaries not only receive new homes but also support to grow crops and raise livestock, helping to secure sustainable incomes.

Bac Quang district has focused on supporting families of revolution contributors, with local officials and soldiers providing hands-on assistance in construction. Meanwhile, Dong Van district has raised funds through auctions of its signature “Ha Giang Yellow Cow” model to build homes for poor households.

So far, over VND 265 billion (equivalent to USD 10.6 million) has been mobilized, enabling the construction of more than 3,000 houses, 2,000 of which have already been completed. Ha Giang aims to finish the work by mid-2025.

Beyond improving housing, the initiative is regarded as vital to enhancing livelihoods, reducing poverty, and strengthening social stability across Ha Giang’s remote areas.
