Gratitude activities for national contributors

PANO – Marking the 70th anniversary of the Vietnamese Wounded Soldiers' and Martyrs' Day (July 27), the Hoa Binh provincial Military Command’s Party Committee launched a fund raising movement to build gratitude houses for disadvantaged national contributors in the province.

So far more than VND 1.2 billion were collected to build 19 gratitude houses. The party committee directed the units to donate working days for these constructions.

* On June 13, the 2017 free health examination opens in Thanh Tam commune, Thanh Liem district, Ha Nam province. 200 national contributors and policy beneficiaries in the commune were provided free medical examination and consultancy, free medicines and disease prevention instructions.

As scheduled, in June, at least 10,000 national contributors and policy beneficiaries in the province will receive health care from the program.

* The Lao Cai provincial People’s Committee mobilized nearly VND 2 billion for gratitude activities to mark the 70^th anniversary of the Vietnamese Wounded Soldiers' and Martyrs' Day.

According to the plan, the province supports the construction of 40 houses for 40 national contributors, of which 10 houses funded from the provincial Gratitude fund, and the remainder will be funded by the district Gratitude fund.
