As the unit lacks facilities for captive care, the injured bird has been transferred to FLC Zoo Safari Park in Quy Nhon, licensed by the provincial People’s Committee to conserve and display rare animals under a semi-wild model.

The bird was found injured near a residential area in Quy Nhon Nam ward. Recognizing that it is a protected wild species, the finder voluntarily handed it over to the ward police.

After receiving the bird, the ward police worked with relevant local agencies and the Tuy Phuoc–Quy Nhon forest ranger unit to complete handover procedures and relocate it to a conservation facility in line with regulations.

The handover reflects the growing awareness and sense of responsibility among local residents in protecting wildlife, contributing to law compliance and biodiversity conservation efforts in the area.
