Earlier, ships carrying Tet supplies arrived in Truong Sa island district, bringing with them the love from the mainland to the soldiers and people on the island.

According to Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Truong Sa Island Colonel Pham Tien Diep, the island’s chain-of-command had developed specific plans on organizing traditional Tet activities for the soldiers and people on the island. These included decorating fruit trays, preparing Banh chung (a traditional square sticky rice cake), hosting cultural performances, and organizing a Q&A contest. Additionally, the unit plans to hold folk games for troops and islanders to create a cheerful and excited atmosphere, contributing to strengthening the bond between the military and civilians.

Below are photos of the Tet atmosphere in Truong Sa island district.
