Disadvantaged children in Tay Ninh receive bicycles
PANO - AIA Vietnam and the National Fund for Vietnamese Children organized a “Life journey” program on October 18 in Tay Ninh city of Tay Ninh province, during which bicycles and insurance policies were given to the province’s children facing adversity in life.
At the program, through the provincial Department of Labors, Invalids and Social Affairs, the organizers presented 70 bicycles and five health insurance policies, each worth VND 20 million, to 75 disadvantaged children. The gifts totally cost VND 230 million.
This year, the “Life journey” program with 13 major events to be carried out from the North to the South will provide needy children nationwide with some 3,000 bicycles and 100 insurance policies.

Addressing the event, AIA Vietnam’s General Director Wayne Besant emphasized that the company, via the program, wants to share love and bring meaningful gifts to more and more disadvantaged children in Vietnam.
He also expressed his delight at further coordinating with the National Fund for Vietnamese Children in raising awareness of people from all walks of life of children’s right to protection and joint hands for people’s longevity, better health and happier life.
AIA Vietnam’s Director General Wayne Besant added that more partners, customers, agents and personnel of the company have supported the program with bicycles over the past five years.
