As many as 460 contestants from 79 teams will compete in two groups. Group A includes teams from universities while group B includes teams from higher schools.

During the contest, contestants will show their knowledge of the “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morals, lifestyle” movement, and apply their knowledge of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh’s thought to resolve specific issues.

The contestants will also be tested on the country’s and city’s achievements in politics, socio-economy, and international integration, the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and knowledge of elections, and more.

This year’s contest has two new events namely “Spring of Independence” and “Youth’s Aspirations” in which the contestants will have a chance to give artistic performances on stage.

The final round of the contest and an awarding ceremony will take place on June 3 and 4.
