Construction of the Canadian International School was officially begun on December 16th in Ho Chi Minh City.
The school will be comprised of two branches in Binh Chanh and Nha Be District respectably, with a total area of 40,000 square meters.
The two school branches, to be built at a cost of VND 500 billion, will include many top notch facilities, such as hi-tech classrooms, offices, football grounds, tennis courses and swimming pools. In particular, libraries with thousands of book titles and labs with modern equipment will be also built.
The Canadian International School will start enrollment in September, 2009. School fees are expected to be about equal to 60% of those of other international schools in the city.
