The "Becoming parents together" project is a community initiative supporting orphaned children in especially difficult circumstances. Its aim is to ensure that orphaned children are safely cared for and protected within family and community environments, allowing them to access to resources for holistic development.

Between 2022 and 2024, the project supported 72 children and 56 families across Thuan An city in Binh Duong province, Bien Hoa city in Dong Nai province, and Ho Chi Minh City, with a total funding of nearly VND 2 billion.

During his project report, Nguyen Phu Duc, member of Kim Oanh Group’s Board of Directors and Chairman of the Khoi Su Tu Tam Foundation, explained that the "Becoming parents together" project evolved from Kim Oanh Charity Foundation, established by Ms. Dang Thi Kim Oanh in 2015 under Decision No.3039/QD of the Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee. Renamed the Khoi Su Tu Tam Foundation in 2024, this change marked a significant strategic shift for long-term philanthropic goals.

Guests and children participate in activities held during the program.

Over the past two years, alongside financial support, the project has organized meaningful activities for children, including summer classes, life skills training, outdoor and physical activities. These programs have provided enriching experiences for orphaned children while equipping their caregivers with positive parenting skills to create safe and nurturing environments for them.

The foundation will focus on promoting the holistic development of children in challenging circumstances through family and kinship structures. Planned activities include education and healthcare support, enhancing caregiving households, and encouraging community involvement.
