Blood donation drive receives 1,500 blood units
PANO – The organizing panel of the “Red Journey” 2018 program, in coordination with the National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation, conducted a blood donation drive in Ho Chi Minh city.
With the participation of many people nationwide, the program collected about 1,500 blood units.
This activity was organized in 26 provinces, aiming to collect at least 30,000 blood units.
After five years of launching the program over 46 provinces, over 120,000 blood units have been collected, contributing to easing severe blood shortages in hospitals.
