Awards for outstanding engineers and workers in HCM City
PANO - The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, the Municipal Labor Union and the Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper co-held a ceremony to hand over the 18th Ton Duc Thang Awards to outstanding engineers and workers of the city on August 19.
The event was held in celebration of the 130th birth anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang (August 20, 1888).
Accordingly, 11 winners selected from 26 nominees are working in major industries of the city. These individuals have stood out with their good virtues, creativeness and industriousness. Particularly, their 89 initiatives, including three province-level projects and two city-level projects, have brought about VND 107 billion of benefit to their businesses.
Since its debut in 2000, the Ton Duc Thang Awards has honored 191 engineers and workers for their remarkable initiatives and technical innovation at their organizations.
