Additional 89 COVID-19 cases recorded in six hours
According to the Ministry of Health, Vietnam posted 89 new COVID-19 infection cases, including one imported case, in the past six hours to 12 pm on June 12.
Among the new infections, 81 were detected in quarantine or blocked sites.
Of the domestic cases, 55 were found in Bac Giang, 20 in Ho Chi Minh City, 10 in Bac Ninh, and three in Hanoi.

The imported case was a three-year-old boy. He was put in quarantine upon his arrival in Vietnam through the Long Binh international border gate in An Giang province.
Twenty-one provinces that were hit by the pandemic have gone through 14 days without new infections.
Since April 29, more than 4.46 million people have received COVID-19 testing.
So far, a total of 3,804 patients have been given the all-clear from the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, while the death toll was 58. The latest death confirmed on June 12 was a female aged 64. The woman being treated for lung cancer died of COVID-related complications.
Among the active patients, 368 have tested negative for the virus once, 105 twice and 61 thrice.
