300 bikes presented to needy children in Quang Nam province
PANO - The National Fund for Vietnamese Children and AIA Vietnam held a Life Journey program in Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province on August 18, during which hundreds of bikes, gifts, and insurance policies were presented to the province’s disadvantaged children.
At the event, via the National Fund for Vietnamese Children, AIA Vietnam handed over 300 bikes and five free insurance policies, totally valued at VND 655 million, to local children facing difficulties in life.

This is the sixth consecutive year that the Life Journey program has come to Quang Nam province to support local disadvantaged children.
So far, AIA Vietnam has provided Quang Nam province’s needy children with 30 free insurance policies, over 1,700 bikes, and numerous gifts.

The insurance company commits itself to present at least 2,700 bikes, 50 free insurance policies, and other gifts with the total worth of nearly VND 9 billion to needy children in 45 cities and provinces nationwide this year.
Attentively, under its “For a green planet” program, for each bike presented nationwide, AIA Vietnam contributes two trees to the national afforestation efforts. The company expects to plant 13,000 trees this year and conducts the program in five years.
Launched in 2014, the Life Journey program has proved its effectiveness. Under this program, more than 20,000 bikes, over 600 free insurance policies (each worth VND 20 million) have reached the hands of poor children in more than 50 cities and provinces throughout Vietnam.
