100,000 trees of different kinds being planted at the Na Tu historical relic

At the ceremony, 100,000 trees of different kinds, totally valued at approximately VND 930 million, were planted, demonstrating the gratitude to the heroic land and contributing to improving the local environment as well as the province’s efforts on natural disaster prevention and response to climate change.

On the occasion of the Day for War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27), Vinamilk also presented 20 gifts to the provincial fallen soldiers’ families, wounded soldiers, former young volunteers and national contributors.

Launched in 2012 by the MoNRE and Vinamilk, the One million green trees for Vietnam Fund program is an activity for the community with the aim of growing more trees in localities nationwide, party improving locals’ living environment.

The program is often carried out in areas benefiting the community, such as residential areas, memorial sites, relic sites, public areas, schools, and areas vulnerable to climate change. 

So far, under this program, up to 680,000 green trees have been planted in nearly 20 provinces and cities nationwide.
