Dr. Pham Minh Tuan, CEO of TOPICA Education Group, was the only Vietnamese honored at the World Economic Forum, together with other leaders of Facebook, Google, Nike and World Bank.
Tuan was among 192 honored Young Global Leaders 2012.
The glory for Tuan was in recognition of his great contributions to technological applications in improving the quality of training in 64 cities and provinces across Vietnam, hi-tech business incubation and experience transfer for a network of 20 Asia-Pacific countries.
Tuan’s activities have received high appreciation from Microsoft President Bill Gates, Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs Jr., World Bank Deputy President Devan Janamitra, and some Vietnamese leaders, such as former Deputy Prime Ministers Pham Gia Khiem and Vu Khoan during their observation.
192 Young Global Leaders 2012 were carefully selected from thousands of young leaders around the world, according to the World Economic Forum’s President Klaus Schwab.
Young Global Leaders is an annual event in the framework of the World Economic Forum with an aim to honor and link young leaders under 40 from all over the world, with their outstanding achievements in their fields as well as active contributions to the development in socio-economics, education and health.
