PANO – All four Vietnamese students attending the 47th International Physics Olympiad in Azerbaijan brought home medals, including one gold, two silvers and one bronze.

The gold medal winner is 12th grader Dinh Tuan Hoang from the Hanoi – Amsterdam Gifted High School.
Two silver medals went to 12th graders Pham Thai Ha from the Hanoi – Amsterdam Gifted High School and Tran Dinh Hieu from the Bac Ninh province’s Gifted High School, while the bronze medalist is 12th grader Nguyen Thuy Hang from Hung Vuong Gifted High School in Phu Tho province.
Accordingly, Vietnam ranked eighth in the medal tally of the Olympiad, which attracted 294 students from 79 countries and territories worldwide.
The Ministry of Education and Training will hold a welcoming ceremony for, and hand over certificates to the medalists at Noi Bai International Airport on July 31st.
