PANO – Scientists, from the Vietnam Institute of Ecology and Living Creature Resource, the Paris Museum of Natural History, the Swedish Museum of Natural History, and the Wildlife Conservation Society, have announced 3 newly-discovered animal species, according to the Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park.
The species, Phylloscopus calciatilis, Vietbocap, and Begonia Vietnamensis, were unveiled in scientific magazines on animals. The third one was discovered by Nguyen Quang Hieu, a member of the Plant Conservation Centre.
The 3 new species brought the number of animals discovered in Phong Nha Ke Bang to 22 over 10 years.
