The press conference introducing the program |
VAVA President Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Rinh held that since its launching four years ago, the program had received more than 700,000 messages (equal to over VND 12 billion). The money was then spent on building houses and rehabilitation centres, and assisting victims and their children.
At the launch ceremony, the Thang Long E-commerce Training Co. Ltd. and the Phuc Lam International General Hospital donated VND 500 million to further support AO/dioxin victims.
On this occasion, the VAVA handed over certificates to three units in acknowledgement of their contributions to popularizing the program to the public.
