Fifteen lawmakers presented their opinions on the draft, mostly in favor of the need to amend and supplement the law.

Also in the morning, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh reported on the State’s external activities 2019.

In the afternoon, Viet delivered another report on feedback on the Law on immigration by Vietnamese citizens

Eighteen legislators expressed their views on procedures for the issuance of popular, official and diplomatic passports, immigration management, among others.

Minister of Public Security To Lam later clarified issues of deputies’ concern.

Concluding discussions, NA Vice Chairman Do Ba Ty, who managed the day, said the NA Standing Committee will direct agencies concerned to fine-tune draft laws before submitting them to the legislature for approval.

On October 29, the NA holds a plenary meeting to hear a report on the draft amendments of and supplements to a number of articles of the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly, among others.
