PANO - The award ceremony of the 6th writing contest “Simple but Noble Examples” will be held on June 9th at Ben Thanh Theatre in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City and broadcast live on the VTV2 channel of the Vietnam Television, the VOV1 of Radio “the  Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and the Vietnamese Defense Television Channel (QPVN).

The news was announced at a press conference chaired by Editor-in-Chief of the People's Army Newspaper (PAN) Major General Pham Van Huan and attended by representatives of the Petrovietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) under the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) and many central and local press agencies on June 4th in the city.

Accordingly, the organizing panel selected 107 out of 200 entries sent by amateur and professional authors from February 1st 2014 to January 31st 2105 to publish on PAN's editions. Thirty works among them were named in the qualifying round but only 15 were selected to be awarded with one first, two second, three third and nine consolation prizes in the final round. In addition, the organizing panel will present a collective prize to the youths of the People's Security Academy for their large number of entries.

In addition, the organizing panel will also co-organize an art program, themed "Entire life to follow Uncle Ho" including reports, exchanges and songs to honour simple but noble examples in the entries as well as the Party, Uncle Ho and the Army.
