PANO - AIA Vietnam, a life insurance company, and the National Fund for Vietnamese Children under the Ministry of Labours, Invalids and Social Affairs launched a program entitled “Life journey” on August 6th in Dong Nai province.

The program aims to raise more funds to buy bikes for poor students keen to study in the province.

50 bicycles handed over to needy students in Dong Nai

Apart from giving support to those disadvantaged kids, the program will raise people’s awareness of children’s rights, traffic safety, and environmental protection.

At the launch ceremony, the organizers presented 50 bikes and 40 scholarships, worth VND 500,000 each, as well as 90 gifts to poor students in the province.

As many as 1,370 poor students in 35 provinces and cities nationwide have so far received bikes under the same program.
