According to the Central Hydro- Meteorology Forecasting Centre, Typhoon Chebi will pass the Philippine archipelago into the East Sea on the late afternoon of November 11. This is a fast-moving and complicated storm.

The wind force near the centre of the storm was 134-166 km per hour gusting up to over 14 category. Typhoon Chebi will continue moving west at a speed of 10-15 km per hour.

Due to the storm impact, there will be winds, heavy rains and rough seas in certain coastal areas.

In the face of the situation, the National Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention and Control has sent an urgent message to coastal cities and provinces from Quang Ninh to Ca Mau and Kien Giang, local committees for flood and storm prevention and control and relevant ministries and sectors, calling them to brace themselves for emergencies.
