In turn, Muoi congratulated Hanoi’s authorities and people on their outcomes and believed that Hanoi will continue to take the lead in the national industrialization and modernization cause.
Born on February 2, 1917, Do Muoi joined the revolutionary cause and became a Party member at a very early age. He held many positions and has made significant contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the country. In any posts, he has shown absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland and its people, maintained authentic revolutionary virtue of a Party member and excellently fulfilled his assigned tasks.
* Can Tho city on February 1 marked the 88th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and 50th anniversary of the Mau Than General Offensive and Uprising in Spring 1968 (Tet Offensive).
During the meeting, leaders of the city and the participants emphasized the sound leadership of the Party toward every success of the national revolutionary cause as well as the great contributions of Military Region 9’s armed forces in general and Can Tho people and troops in particular to the Tet Offensive.
In the new context, Party Committee, authorities, armed forces and people of Can Tho city determine to achieve set targets of developing socio-economy and building comprehensive strong Party organizations.
* On the same day, An Giang province handed over Party membership badges to senior Party members. At the event, local leaders asked the awardees to continue making contributions to the development of the province.
* Division 370 of the Air Defense Air Force Service in association with the Ho Chi Minh City’s Youth Union to hold an art exchange “Soldiers’ Spring” to celebrate the 88th founding anniversary of the Party and welcome the 2018 Lunar New Year (Tet).
