The exhibition aims to express a token of gratitude to sacrifices by five outstanding Party leaders of Vietnam, namely Nguyen Duc Canh, Tran Phu, Le Hong Phong, Ha Huy Tap and Nguyen Van Cu. These leaders represented those who pioneered and laid foundation for the development of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).

The exhibition aims to express a token of gratitude to sacrifices by five outstanding Party leaders of Vietnam.

The exhibition has three parts. The first one features comrade Nguyen Duc Canh’s first steps in building the revolutionary movement from Hai Phong to Quang Ninh. The second one highlights the leadership of former General Secretaries Tran Phu, Le Hong Phong, Ha Huy Tap and Nguyen Van Cu over the revolution of Vietnam. Though they laid down their lives before the victory of the revolution, their fostered confidence, urged patriots to seize power during 1939-1945. And the last one expresses deep gratitude to communists who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s independence and freedom.

As part of the exhibition, some typical works by the five Party leaders, several newspapers’ issues and Party’s documents are also on display.

In the framework of the program, visitors will have a chance to exchange with historical witnesses who are typical Party members and prisoners of war to learn more about their motive and trust that helped them overcome hardship and be faithful to the Party and the revolution.

The exhibition, in celebration of the 88th founding anniversary of the CPV (February 3, 1930-2018) and Nguyen Duc Canh’s 110th birth anniversary (February 2, 1908-2018), will run until February 2 at the Hoa Lo Historical Relic.
