Over 30,000 people participate in Red Flamboyant Campaign

PANO – The 8^th Red Flamboyant Voluntary Campaign, with slogans of “Soldiers of Red Flamboyant for training” and “Safety, discipline, vivacity and practicality”, was launched by Ho Chi Minh City’s Youth Union on June 9^th.

In this year’s campaign, with the participation of more than 30,000 students and teachers from high schools, the “Soldiers of Red Flamboyant for children” program will host a wide range of meaningful activities to care for local needy children, especially those at charitable facilities.

In the second program, “Soldiers of Red Flamboyant for training”, participants will inquire after beneficiaries, learn about national and local traditions and living skills, and disseminate civilized urban lifestyle.

After the launching ceremony, volunteers joined activities such as cleaning up streets, collecting old books and newspapers, teaching children how to swim, and visiting orphans at charitable facilities and hospitals.

The campaign will last until July 7^th.
