Over 24,000 entries sent to traffic safety contest

PANO - The Traffic Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security have received 24,257 entries of the “Doraemon with traffic safety” in Vietnam 2016 slogan contest since it was launched nearly two months ago.
Among them, 20,132 entries are from kids aged 6 to 15 and the remainders are from adolescents.
On June 15th, the organizing board selected 100 best entries and then translated them into Japanese for marking because three of eight members of the jury are Japanese.

Two best entries for each age category will be chosen for awards. The best of the two awardees will be the official slogan of the program “Doraemon with traffic safety” in Vietnam 2016.
On July 12th, the results of the contest will be announced on mass media and on the websites http://www.antoangiaothong.com.vn and http://www.csgt.vn.
The awarding ceremony will take place on September 14th in Hanoi.
The program “Doraemon with traffic safety” in Vietnam 2016 aims to popularize laws on traffic safety and order for Vietnamese children, to protect them from traffic accidents as well as to help educate the traffic law for younger generations, making contribution to building the traffic culture in Vietnam.
