PANO - The organizing panel of the 2014 Nhan Tai Dat Viet (Vietnamese Talent Awards) has announced 22 information technology products out of 240 entries to compete at the final round.

The press conference on November 6th in Hanoi revealed that the entries include many products made by overseas Vietnamese in France and Singapore. The youngest competitor is Pham Nguyen Anh Ngu, aged 14 with the product “Studying English language with you” for mobile application and the oldest contestant is 68-year-old Hoang Van Thao, with the product maintaining and recovering Al-E-Power battery.

From November 16th to 18th, finalists will report on and defend their IT products under the judgement of the jury headed by Professor and Academic Nguyen Van Hieu.

Nine best IT products will receive awards in three IT categories, namely “Success”, “Prospect” and “Mobile Applications”.

Besides, scientists in natural science, pharmacy and environment will be also honored at the awards ceremony on November 20th at Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi. The event marking 10th years of the Vietnamese Talent Awards will be broadcast live on VTV2.
