A website on temporary residence registration and management for foreigners and overseas Vietnamese in Ho Chi Minh City was launched on June 11th at the address www.congan.com.vn.

According to Senior Lieutenant-Colonel Nguyen Van Anh, Head of the HCMC Police’s Bureau for Immigration Management, after the website is launched, all the hotels, office buildings for lease and residential places for foreigners and overseas Vietnamese in HCMC can perform temporary residence registration online via the above website.

The website also provides legal documents on immigration, residence of foreigners in Vietnam and an introduction to the temporary residence and visa registration process.
