National Assembly deputies vote on the Capital Law (revised)

Prior to the voting, the N.A. listened to a report on revisions made to the draft Capital Law based on the outcomes of debates at the N.A., presented by head of the N.A.'s Committee on Legal Affairs Hoang Thanh Tung.

Tung emphasised that the Capital Law only regulates specially-designed mechanisms and policies for Hanoi, so beyond this law, the capital is still subject to other laws and legal documents within the legal system. Therefore, the N.A. Standing Committee took note of justified and responsible opinions of N.A. deputies with a view to continuing directing the review, amendment, and supplementation of related laws, decrees, and resolutions towards perfecting the legal system in the coming time, he went on.
