NA to consider adopting six bills at seventh session
The National Assembly will mull over the adoption of six bills at the seventh session to be opened on May 20, 2019.
At the ongoing 29th session of the NA Standing Committee in Hanoi on December 11, deputies gave opinions on the preparation for the seventh session which will last for about 20 days.

The six bills include the revised laws on education, tax management, enforcement of criminal judgments, the law on architecture, the law on amending and supplementing some articles of the Law on Public Investment, the law on preventing and combating harmful effects of alcohol and beer, and a draft resolution on the law and ordinance development program in 2020.
Lawmakers will deliberate other nine draft laws.
Besides socio-economic issues, the NA will supervise the implementation of policies and laws on land planning, management and use in urban areas since the Land Law 2013 took effect to the end of 2018.
NA Secretary General and Chairman of the NA’s Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc directed relevant agencies to continue proposing solutions to improve the quality of the session.
During the morning working session, the NA Standing Committee evaluated the outcome of implementing external activities and international cooperation in 2018 and approved the external affairs program in 2019.
